Each month, the Adult Education Committee will provide a link to a musical selection related to Judaism that we find compelling.  We hope you will take a few minutes to listen.  Additionally, you are  encouraged to post your thoughts about the composer, musician/s, lyrics, importance, etc. on the temple website.  March’s selection is Purim Chagiga.

July’s selection are Eisha for Tisha B’av on July 26th and My Heart is Dancing in Jerusalem both by Sam Glasser.  Glasser sings solemnly on the first and joyously on the second befitting the contexts.

June’s selections is “Sim Shalom” by Six-13. This particular selection is a good one to share with kids.

In March, Adult Education at Temple Beth Or began something new. Each month, the Committee provides a link to a musical selection related to Judaism that we find compelling. May’s selections are “The Maccabeats Home” by the Maccabeats (Jerusalem Day) and “Shavuot Medley” by Micha Gamerman (Shavuot).
